§ 5.8. Water use record management.

As discussed under section 5.1, all water delivered and pumped to the distribution system is metered. The current billing system recognizes the following user categories: residential, apartment, commercial and industrial. Public water uses (such as municipally-owned parks and buildings) are included in the commercial use category. Institutional water uses (such as hospitals and schools) are also included in the commercial use category. The current user categories will be continued and should be adequate to provide appropriate desegregation of water sales and to determine the amount of unaccounted-for water.
