§ 21-22. Parade or procession permits.

  • No procession or parade containing thirty (30) or more persons or five (5) or more vehicles, except funerals, the forces of the United States Army or Navy, the military forces of this state and the forces of the police an fire departments, shall occupy, march or proceed along any street except in accordance with a permit issued by the chief of police and such other regulations as are set forth in this chapter which may apply.

    No procession or parade, except funeral processions, shall be held without first securing a permit from the chief of police. All such requests for permits shall state the time, place of formation, proposed line of march, destination and such other regulations as the chief of police may set forth therein.
