§ 21-24. Obstructions to traffic prohibited.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to permit or allow any tree, shrubbery, wire, overhanging roof, awning or other obstacle to obstruct, extend or protrude over or into any street, alley or highway so that the same causes damage to or interferes with the free movement of any motor vehicle, or to allow or place any sand, gravel, lumber or other foreign substance or obstacle in any street or alley, so that the same causes damage to or interferes with the free movement of any motor vehicle, or to allow or place any sand, gravel, lumber or other foreign substance or obstacle in any street or alley so that the same might cause damage to any vehicle or interfere with the free movement of traffic.
