§ 21-33. Lights and reflectors on bicycles.

  • Every bicycle when in operation during one-half hour after sunset and one-half hour before sunrise while on any street in the city shall be equipped with a lamp on the front exhibiting a white light visible upon normal atmospheric conditions at least two hundred (200) feet in the direction such vehicle is facing and shall have at the rear one (1) red light plainly visible from the rear or, in lieu of such red light, shall have a red reflector.
