§ 21-79. Overtaking and passing school bus.

The driver of a vehicle, upon meeting or overtaking from either direction any school bus which
has stopped on the street for the purpose of receiving or discharging passengers shall stop the vehicle immediately before passing the school bus, but may then proceed past such school bus at a speed which is prudent, not exceeding ten (10) miles per hour, and with due caution for the safety of the passengers.
