§ 21-96. Stop signs and yield right-of-way signs—Placing on streets intersecting through streets.

  • Whenever this chapter or any ordinance of the city designates and describes a through street, it shall be the duty of the city traffic engineer to place and maintain a stop sign on every street intersecting such through street; except, that where traffic is light or physical conditions are such as to indicate the reasonable use of a yield right-of-way sign, the city traffic engineer may place a yield right-of-way sign in lieu of a stop sign.
