§ 33B-10. Definitions.

  • For the purposes of Chapter 33B the following terms shall be defined as follows:

    (1)

    Public event day shall mean that period of time that is four (4) hours before the time the public event in Texas Stadium is scheduled to begin and during the time a public event in Texas Stadium is in progress.

    (2)

    Spectator shall mean a person who is authorized to enter into Texas Stadium for the purpose of observing a public event whether admittance is free, by admission fee or by invitation.

    (3)

    Public event shall mean any event open to the public including but not limited to athletic contests, sporting events, programs, concerts, rock concerts, country-western music concerts, wrestling matches, tractor pulls, graduation ceremonies and revivals conducted in Texas Stadium whether admittance is free, by admission fee or by invitation.

    (4)

    Texas Stadium is the sports coliseum structure consisting of an approximately sixty-five thousand (65,000) seat football stadium at 2401 East Airport Freeway, in Irving, Texas.
