§ 33B-6. Unauthorized stopping or parking on parking lot of any sports stadium.

  • It shall be unlawful to stop or park any vehicle on any parking lot or property used in connection with any sports stadium in the city without having paid the parking fee and against the consent of the lessee, agent or manager thereof.

    It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on any parking lot or property used in connection with any sports stadium so as to close traffic lanes.

    If a vehicle is found unattended or unoccupied on any parking lot or area used in connection with any sports stadium in the city in violation of any provision of this chapter regulating the stopping, standing or parking of vehicles, the same is declared a nuisance per se. The chief of police or his authorized agent is hereby instructed to immediately remove said vehicle from said area to a place of safety which has been designated for such usage by the City of Irving. The owner shall be required to pay the towing fee and storage fee as well as give the city a written release from possible damages prior to the return of said vehicle.
