§ 37-51.1. Same—Maximum rates.

The following rates shall be the maximum rates to be charged by all taxicab operators in the City of Irving:

(1)

General fares:

Initial meter drop and first quarter ¼ mile ..... $2.00

Each additional one-quarter ¼ mile ..... 0.40

Traffic delay time/waiting time, per one and one-half 1½ minutes ..... 0.40

Each extra passenger charge (up to manufacturer's rated seating capacity) ..... 2.00

Extra toll D/FW:

Minimum charge when trip requires exiting airport tollbooths and terminates inside of airport property ..... 10.00

Minimum charge when trip requires exiting airport tollbooths and terminates outside of airport property ..... 12.00
