§ 38-94. Duties and responsibilities.

The board shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
(1)

Make recommendations to the city council concerning matters of environmental stewardship and the responsible management of resource use;

(2)

Promote the understanding and sustainability of the City of Irving's ecology, including its natural resources and processes; and

(3)

Make recommendations regarding City of Irving plans and ordinances that may affect natural resources and processes and recommend ecologically sound policies, practices, and technologies.
