§ 3-13. Approval of construction, operation, etc.; operation standards generally.

No airport or heliport shall be constructed, operated or maintained unless it has been approved by the city council pursuant to its zoning regulations, and conducted, operated and maintained in accordance with all the requirements of the Federal Aviation Agency.

All persons desiring to operate and maintain an airport or heliport within the city shall furnish certificates, affidavits or letters from the affected federal agencies, namely the Federal Aviation Agency, that the proposed airport or heliport shall meet all of the requirements of the agencies.
