§ 41-10. All water to be metered.

It is unlawful for any person to receive and use water from the city water system if that water is not metered by a city authorized water meter. It is an affirmative defense to this section that the water is from a privately owned fire hydrant being used for fire fighting purposes and is metered by an authorized leak detection device. It is an affirmative defense to this section that the water is from a public fire hydrant being used by city personnel for an authorized public use.
