§ 44-13. Square footage required per machine.

(1)

Any business establishment open to the public which has one or more coin-operated amusement machines available for public use shall provide at least fifteen (15) square feet of floor space within the area devoted to the public's use of coin-operated amusement machines for each coin-operated amusement machine.

(2)

For the purpose of determining whether a business displaying or exhibiting coin-operated amusement machines to the public is an amusement center or amusement store, the floor area actually occupied by the coin-operated amusement machine shall be determined by multiplying the length times the width of the space occupied by the machine; provided however, no coin-operated amusement machine shall be determined to occupy less than fifteen (15) square feet of floor area.
