§ 49-4. Signs.

(a)

Display of signs. No more than one (1) sign may be located on the premises where the garage sale is to be conducted and that sign may only be displayed on the days the garage sale is in progress.

(b)

Size of signs. The sign shall not exceed two hundred eighty-eight (288) square inches.

(c)

Off-premises signs. No more than four (4) signs advertising the garage sale shall be placed off the premises on which the sale is being conducted but the signs shall not be attached to any telephone or electric company pole, or any State of Texas or City of Irving traffic-control signal or sign nor shall any garage sale sign be located upon any median of any public street, road, or highway. Said garage sale signs shall not be placed on public right-of-way except from 12:00 noon Friday to 12:00 noon the following Monday.
