§ 6-22. Reporting of rabies cases by veterinarians.

  • Each veterinarian shall report in writing all clinical or suspected cases of rabies under his or her care to the animal services manager within twenty-four (24) hours after the animal is admitted to a hospital or has been seen by the veterinarian or his/her staff. The report shall include the name and address of the owner or harborer, location of the animal, and the number of and names and addresses of any persons bitten.
