§ 9A-4. Hold harmless agreement and liability insurance prerequisites to issuance of permit.

No person, firm, corporation or partnership shall be allowed a permit to erect or display Christmas decorations upon or across public property without first providing the City of Irving with the following:

(a)

Hold harmless agreement which indemnifies the City of Irving for any liability or damages that may result from the erection or display of Christmas decorations upon or across public property.

(b)

A liability insurance policy naming the City of Irving as the insured in the following amounts:

(1)

Bodily injury liability:

One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) each person.

Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000.00) each occurrence.

(2)

Property damage:

Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) each occurrence.
