§ 25-1.11. Misuse or misappropriation of park property.

(a)

Reckless or intentional destruction, injury, defacement, removal or any alteration of park property, including but not limited to developed facilities, natural formations, mineral deposits, historical and archaeological features and vegetative growth, is prohibited. It shall be an affirmative defense to prosecution under this section that written permission was obtained from the director of parks and recreation.

(b)

Cutting or gathering of trees or parts of trees or the removal of wood from park lands is prohibited without written permission of the director of parks and recreation or his designee.
