§ 25-1.14. Facility use cards.

  • (a)

    Card required. Before participating in any activity at the City of Irving Recreation Center, a resident of the city aged twelve (12) years and over, or a nonresident aged three (3) years and over, must present an Irving Parks and Recreation Department facility use card for that person to a recreation center employee, if requested to do so. The card shall be kept on file during the person's presence at the recreation center. The parks and recreation director shall be responsible for providing adequate facilities to produce the cards and shall be in charge of the design of the cards. The cards may include a photograph of the person to whom issued.

    (b)

    Card fees. The fees for a facility use card shall be as follows:

    Resident (facility use cards are good for two years from the date of purchase):

    12 years to 17 years ..... No charge

    18 years to 49 years ..... $ 5.00

    Senior citizens (over 50 years) .....  5.00

    (2)

    Nonresident (card must be renewed annually):

    3 years through adult ..... 30.00

    Family ..... 40.00

    Guest card, per day .....  3.00

    Guest card, per week ..... 10.00

    Corporate card* ..... 25.00

    Courtesy card ..... No charge

    *Available to nonresidents of Irving who work in Irving, but not to their family members.

    Heritage Senior Center—Senior Citizens (over 50 years):

    Annual membership fee—Irving residents ..... 10.00

    Annual membership fee—Non-Irving residents ..... 24.00
