§ 44-5. License or permit display; replacement; transferability; notice of change in ownership.

  • (1)

    Each license or permit issued pursuant to this chapter must be posted and kept in a conspicuous place in the amusement center or amusement store and must state the number of coin-operated amusement machines for the location for which the license or permit was issued.

    (2)

    A replacement license or permit may be issued for one lost, destroyed or mutilated, upon application on a form provided by the chief of police. A replacement license or permit shall have the word "REPLACEMENT" stamped across its face and shall bear the same number as the one it replaces.

    (3)

    An amusement center license or amusement center permit is not assignable or transferable.

    (4)

    A licensee or permittee shall notify the chief of police within ten (10) days of a change or partial change in the ownership or change of operator(s) or a change of address or trade name.
