§ 54-29. Duties of manager and designees.

The manager of the public health services division shall supervise the operation of the public health services division. The manager of the health services division is authorized to enforce all laws and ordinances relative to public health as designated and delegated by the city manager or his designee whether the manager is referred to as director of health department, director of health, health director or manager of public health services division in the Code of Civil and Criminal Ordinances of the City of Irving, Texas, or other ordinances of the city.
