§ 6-26. Rescue groups.

Any individual or organization that operates as a rescue group or rescuer in the city must be permitted by the animal services manager and register with the city, which shall include signing an agreement provided by the animal services manager and providing in writing the address of the base office and each foster home located in Irving. Foster homes are required to adhere to the requirements of this chapter limiting the number of animals authorized to be kept and are subject to periodic inspections by the animal services supervisor. Refusal to permit inspections of foster homes could result in the revocation of the permit in the city for the rescue group.
