§ 6-30.1. Knowledge of dangerous animal.
For purposes of this section, a person learns he is the owner of a dangerous animal when:
(1)
The owner knows of an attack described in the section 6-1 definition of "dangerous animal;" or
(2)
The owner is notified by the animal services manager that the animal is a dangerous animal; or
(3)
The owner is notified by the court that the dog is a dangerous dog; or
(4)
The owner is notified by the court that, after appeal, the court has upheld the animal services manager's determination that the animal is a dangerous animal.
