§ 6-7. Restriction on number of dogs, cats, or combination of both, to be kept in residential premises.

It is unlawful to keep or harbor more than four (4) dogs or cats or a combination of these beyond the normal weaning age on any premises used or zoned for residential purposes. It is an affirmative defense to this section that the person has a valid breeder's permit, a valid multiple pet owner permit, or is a registered rescue group.
