§ 6-7. Restriction on number of dogs, cats, or combination of both, to be kept in residential premises.

  • It is unlawful to keep or harbor more than four (4) dogs or cats or a combination of these beyond the normal weaning age on any premises used or zoned for residential purposes. It is an affirmative defense to this section that the person has a valid breeder's permit, a valid multiple pet owner permit, or is a registered rescue group.
