§ 52-83. Exceptions and exemptions not required to be negated.

In any complaint and in any action or proceedings brought for the enforcement of any provisions of this ordinance, it shall not be necessary to negate any exception, exclusion, proviso or exemption contained in this ordinance, and the burden of proof of any such exception, excuse, proviso or exemption shall be upon the defendant.
