§ 20-8. Unlawful removal of materials.

It shall be unlawful for any person, to intentionally, knowingly or recklessly take or borrow from the Irving Public Library System any book, pamphlet, periodical, audio-visual item, paper or other property; unless it is taken or borrowed in accordance with the rules of said library. The violation of any provision in this section shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00).
